DocChangify reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to this page. 2. Description of the Service

DocChangify provides free, browser-based file conversion and utility tools including but not limited to:

• Image format conversion and compression
• PDF text extraction, merging, splitting, conversion to images, and compression
• Image to PDF conversion
• Developer utilities (JSON/CSV conversion, Base64 encoding)
• Text processing tools (word counting, case conversion, whitespace removal)

All processing is performed locally within the user's browser. No files are transmitted to DocChangify servers. The Service is provided free of charge without the requirement to create an account or provide personal information.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use DocChangify only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Process files containing content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or violates the rights of any third party
• Use the Service to circumvent copyright protection, digital rights management, or other technical protection measures
• Use the Service to process files that you do not have the legal right to process, reproduce, or distribute
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit any aspect of the DocChangify website or its underlying code for malicious purposes
• Use automated systems, bots, scrapers, or other non-human means to access the Service in a way that burdens infrastructure
• Impersonate DocChangify or its representatives, or falsely claim association with the Service
• Use the Service to violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership of any files you process using DocChangify. By using the Service, you confirm that you have the legal right to process, copy, convert, or transform the files you upload. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of such content complies with applicable copyright law, licensing agreements, and intellectual property rights.

DocChangify Content: The DocChangify name, branding, interface design, and original code are the intellectual property of the DocChangify project. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute DocChangify's website design or branding without explicit written permission.

Open-Source Libraries: This Service uses open-source software components (including PDF.js and pdf-lib), which are licensed under their respective open-source licenses. These licenses are separate from and not superseded by these Terms.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of conversion outputs for any specific purpose

You acknowledge that file conversion tools may not produce perfect outputs in all cases, particularly for complex, password-protected, or non-standard file formats. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of any output file before use.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CONVERTERA AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your files or data
• Damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service

• All files you choose to process using any DocChangify tool
• Ensuring you have permission, license, or legal right to convert, copy, or use such files
• Any actions taken based on the output of DocChangify's tools
• Verifying file output quality and integrity before using outputs in professional, commercial, or public contexts
• Maintaining backups of original files, as DocChangify operates on in-browser copies only

8. No Professional Advice

DocChangify is a file utility platform only. Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, medical, technical consulting, or any other form of professional advice. Any information provided on the website is for general informational purposes only. You should independently verify suitability before relying on tool outputs for professional or regulated applications.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

DocChangify makes no guarantee of continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability of the Service. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DocChangify regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings relating thereto.
